A buddy had a binding/ski issue on an East Coast "powder day" and a random guy we were skiing grabbed an extra pair of skis from his truck and set him up. Big ups.
In the spirit of karma, I met a rando on the lift who had some decent skills, but also taken minimal lessons. I gave him a two hour private lesson and saw him crushing it about a month later. Towards the end of the season he found me on facebook and sent me a pic of the setup he'd ordered (I planted a seed in his brain that his setup would not cut the mustard if he was trying to improve as much as he wanted) and that I got him fully addicted to skiing. Also big ups.
