The Jay Adams of Freeskiing?

Who do you think was the pioneer to freeskiing the sport we know and love today? Jay Adams gave skate boarding its flow and style that it emphasizes today but who did that for skiing?
 
Well OP Im a huge fan of Jay Adams, but I dont think he single handed-ly gave skateboard all its flow and style and whatnot, if he didnt have his homies to shred with he probably wouldnt have done what he did. Same with skiing, I look up a lot to JP, Pollard, Candide, Tanner Hall, CRJ, Boyd Easly?, and some others I grew up watching matchsticks first few movies of, but I dont think any one of them single handed-ly made skiing what it is today, but they all definitely were a part of it
