WTF? I didn't see that, that is fucking stupid. I almost think they need to add refs at the goal line just to help with spotting this type of bullshit. That or have a quicker ref who can get into the play to see whats going on..
 
go watch italy in the premiership, their defence is all about stopping the set plays and they do grab shirts, here in the world cup they have stopped cuz there are different refs, they call different stuff, so each turni is different, watch them all before you say they are pussies. please, thx.

Pretty sure the Americans aren't taking dives. Given they may every now and then, but nobody takes dives like Italians. They will take a dive instead of taking a shot. Complete pussies and cause people who aren't regular soccer fans think the game is full of pansies who fall when someone barely touches them.... And not sure if you watched the Ivory Coast v Brazil game, but the Coast took a terrible dive when Kaka elbowed him in the chest and he went down holding his face. Not saying every team doesn't dive. But nobody does it as much as the Italians

ok. well why dont you watch another team other then the USA. look at germany, they dive, look at ANY FUCKING TEAM THEY ALL DIVE. the south africans dont as much. you see other teams get yellows n reds for diving, not italy. If you did watch Italy's game, they got like 2 fouls. one dive, but that was when the guy was holding his shirt, preventing him from scoring. you understand? and the refs are people they make proper judgements they dont see a guy on the ground and say penalty, they do see dives. do you watch any other turni other then the world cup?? how can you say the italians dive instead of taking the shots, they had 23 shots and 15 corners last game. and like 2 fouls so please shut the fuck up. you have no fucking idea what you are talking about. i bet u were one of the guys that said soccer is gay about 1 month ago while you were playing baseball in boston.
 
I'm not saying teams don't dive. I'm saying the Italians do it the most. I have watched other teams other than USA and I understand that diving is part of the game (a part I hate). I am mostly refering to their first game in the World Cup when they took the cake on diving. One player went down and nobody even touched him. And i wasn't one of those people saying soccer sucks. Ive played my entire life and love the sport. I just hate people who dive.

hahahaha this comment cracks me up, why the fuck are you discussing soccer if you dont even know the basic rules of the game. a pk is given if a foul is committed within the box, you say its worthy of a foul but not a pk? thats not possible, if its a foul in the box, its a pk. it doesnt matter how hard the foul is.

its just the fact that he agreed there was clearly a physical foul taking place in the box but that it didn't warrant a penalty kick. i thought if it was anything physical (handball, hard tackle, ect.) that a pk is given, is that correct? ha maybe i am wrong

I wasn't aware that italy won the 2009 world cup.

And regardless, it's generally known in football that the italians cheated their way to the top in 06 anyways. The african nations also dive like none other. Its everywhere in the game, only the italians don't even bother trying to cover it up anymore.
