The Human Race Has Not CHanged

i don't mean to hate or put you down, but referring to a previous post about how animals do not behave in this way, separates our nature from animal nature so animalistic is not the correct term however, it is what it is meaning this is our current form of practice, or nature, but don't fret, soon some super bug will come along and wipe out half of the planet, the environment works on a checks and balances system, which unfortunately it's main power to push back human advance (disease) has been more or less out done with wonder drugs and vaccines, but don't worry soon (if not already..HIV) will come along and put our environment back in check, some will survive, many will not, just wait, you'll see, i agree though the world needs less humans right now, it is estimated the world can support approx 8 billion people, soon the world population will be 7 billiion i believe we're at 6.8 billion currently, so soon starvation will set in and don't forget the oil crisis that will soon take over so shortly many people will die of cold and or starvation, i know it sounds heartless, but the world seriously needs it

"WE still pollute, we lie, steal, we kill, we assault, we pillage, but we still have poor, hungry, war torn people on the planet that we are singlehandedly destroying. Cool."

That's why we are referencing global warming.

Thats still just a localized instance. When will people realize its GLOBAL warming, not just temperature changes in my neighborhood. Globally, a temperature change so small as to not be noticeable in a room would require billions of joules of energy, and have drastic effects on weather patterns, sea temperatures, currents and much further down the line, ecosystems.

People need hope and heros, with out beliefs we would be worst of then how we are. religion can be a terrable commotidy of life, but unfortuantly it is neccisarry....can you just imagine trying to live with out any hope? I think it is the greatest gift that humans have because hope is all we have left sometimes...while people sit inside houses and type on the internet some people are out their doing things, and we all hope that they can accomplish the impossable if global warming even exists.

Although simple, this is in my opinion the most important point mentioned yet, hopefully only a reminder to most of us.

For any of you that care i challenge you. Do something today, It's pretty hard to just get up and get involved first hand right on the spot. But my challenge is take 10 minutes of your time and research an issue that you don't know much about. Tommorow discuss it with a buddy or two, see where it goes. (don't worry im no hypocrite i'll do it too)

But keep in mind this is only awareness- step on to any solution- awareness itself only does so much. North Americans are known for being "aware" of things but not being "active" in any solution.

there's always free rice http://http://freerice.com/index.php lol

first of all, im not hating im making my point. im hardcore athiest because there is absolutely no evidence of a god or higher power. but, i do not need the delusion that there is a god to have hope. its like, come on, if you need to think theres a "higher power: whos going to make everything better...you need to take some fucking responsibility. and, in my opinion, the world could do without organized religion. thers really nothing good about it. the mormons used to believe in polygomy, christians believe non-believers will go to hell...that sounds like something i want to particapate in for sure...

I wasn't actually calling you out specifically, you just happened to mention it too. I was just trying to say that there are other major problems in the world that are being overshadowed by Global Warming whihc isn't even being properly adressed in the first place. It just seems like all anyone ever does is talk about what they will do or would like to do but they never actually put any of it into action. Go out and join an environmetal club, a humanitarian club, political group, anything. Just do something.

ya its ridiculous.

i read a quote from his wife that she said at some speech or something to black women. " stop arguing, he's black enough" because i guess people are saying that he's half black. my prblem is why the fuck does this matter u know? y would she point that out? shouldn't even be an issue
