that's interesting they're already filming commercials with joss. Isn't he very unlikely to make the slopestyle team at this point based on the FIS points or whatever they're called?
 
yeah that was terrible but im all for these dudes getting some $, pro skiing isnt exactly an easy money maker

also im happy for gus, it's corny but he could have a great effect on lots of young people watching him compete. dude is fuckin unbelievable at skiing

I agree I don't blame them, fuck if I could make a cheesy ad and get paid for it a would. What you said is very true though, he's a rolemodel for a lot of people and is making a good influence.
 
The Joss Bounty spot is hilarious. From the bad green screen, to the bad wardrobe, to the bad editing, to the bad music, to the bad copywriting... it's clear that they were going for a light stupid tone. If you try to go serious with these things, they turn out bad (look, Joss Christensen doing legit Bounty commericals is a bit of an eye roller). But if you overdo the bad and make fun of yourself, it's funny. They nailed it.

On the other hand, Gus is in a more tricky position. He's constantly going to be surrounded by hot button issues that demand a level of seriousness. Serious + freeskiing + mainstream haven't historically done very well.
