elevation wise that is.

What is the highest elevation you have been, while on land? I was going to put this in ski gabber, but I suppose some people could have been higher while not skiing.

Myself, the highest I have been is 3527M. the top of Vail Resort. I really want to get to 4000M... one day.

hiked mt elbert. highest mtn in CO. 3rd highest in the US i believe. lived in leadville (highest town in the US i believe - 10,200) for a year.

Top of Whitney, so that's 14500 feet.
12900 at Breck, 13100 in New Mexico, 13000 in California, 13000 at the Swiss / Italian border.

41000 feet in an airplane.11990 in a car (Loveland Pass).
And maybe -60 feet in the tunnels under the Hudson River.

highest i've been in a car is 3031M (9943ft). Tioga Pass in Yosemite Park. Drove it at sunset from west to east... absolutely beautiful.

What kinda plane would that be? Passanger jets fly between 27k and 35k.

I honestly don't know. I've been on a lot of mountains. Probably 9k

6,768 m bitches, mt huascarán, highest mountain in peru, pretty much pwns in elevation. i've been near but not at the top of mt chimborazo in ecuador, considered to be the farthest point from the center of the earth.

first, Airbus makes the A-380. Embraer only makes regional jets, nothing too big. But most of them can easily ceiling at 41 000.

and second, almost all newish commercial planes can fly at over 40 000 feet. If you've done a few tans-North American flights chances are at some point you've been at over 40 000 wither to avoid the jet stream or to go in it.
