lets talk about fernie.. i have been there the last 2 weekends and its the best snow ive skied in years. The last time i was there i was probley like 10 years old and havnt been back out there untill last week. I have now decicded thats where ill be if i wana go to the mountains. Its only a 3 hour drive and you cen stay up there for next to nothing. The snow seems to be like 1000 times better than sunshine and louise.. so ill be up there alot more. satisfied?
 
when it dumps in fernie, that place is the fucken best. sad thing is. like a day later is rained and the bottom half of the mountain is ice. I like Fernie, its a fun place, but hen it comes to a 3hr drive to get to a ski resort, id pack my bags for kickinghorse because that place is out of control. I guess its just wherever the snow is best. Have you ever skiied castle? I heard that place was sick and gets hit by the same storms as fernie.
 
castle is just like kicking horse...the snow report is payed attention to so avidly that as soon as snow hits people have tracks in it and its horseshit within 2 days cuz the whole mountain is so easily accessed and visible...fernie rains...sunshine is very rarely sunny...louise is overpriced...nakiska sucks period...im all over panorama...but like everyone knows, no mountain is actually good unless there is snow...if theres no fresh you might as well hit cop and save your money
 
good on ya. you stay at cop and leave the resorts to the big kids. i dont care if theres new snow. i would much rather ride a skiied out chute then hit a fucken icy park. heres an acurate description of the mountains around calgary. sunshine is great for building features sunny or not. fernie is sick when it snows. louise is the best mountain in alberta, period. kickinghorse is a true riders wet dream, panorama is super fun if you can get on-hill accom. and drink all day. Eric you are such a park rat bitch, and you fucken suck at park anyways. your a lame dick. your post really shows your true colors. everywhere sucks but COP. that sounds like the words of a poor ass baby who cant afford to get to the mountains and when you do. YOU CANT EVEN SKI THEM. your a homosexual bitch. I guess where just going to have to agree to disagree on that well known fact.
 
Yea ive been to castle twice, but each time was about 5 years ago. It was such a sick place, i got to ski freshies on my way down to the top of the race course. I dont think it was that pricey and its not overcrouded or anything. Kicking hourse sounds like that shit but because they dont have a race team i never went there. I wana try and make it out there soon, do they get dumps often?

tracked out to me is icey, sketchy ass shit that i would much rather not ski...i dunno what tracked out is to you guys, but thats how im percieving this...is theres still some snow on top im totally down...i would WAY rather ride that than a nice fully packed icey park

I am pretty sure Fernie hasn't had rain at the top half since last year. Yeah ok, it rains at the bottom 3rd only wow, just a sign of how much it dumps at the top. I have never really been a fan of the bottom 3rd of Fernie anyway. But what do I know, I only live in Fernie for half of my time.

yea i really shoudl stop being a pussy...its annoying...i contemplate everything sooooo much before doing it...but im cool with that cuz i run every single thing that could go wrong through my head!! makes me feel better and more comfortable...
