From Michael Grahams website- Islamists have put a death mark on the guy who made this. Kinda reminds me of the Theo Van Gogh, a filmaker who was shot and stabbed to death in Amsterdam by a extremist muslim who felt he had to die for the film he made about the supression of women in Islam.

I lived in Saudia Arabia for 5 years. I love muslims, they ARE very peaceful people. I'm sorry that fundamentalists have severely fucked their image up. These people are like the WBC of Islam. Please don't buy into this crap as an image for all muslim peoples -

yep, 1 kid at my school is from jordan, another is from afghanistan, both of them say that they scorn upon the extremist groups just as much as we do it's just that they're attributed to being terrorists because they're muslims but in reality most muslims don't want to blow up america
 
^Exactly, i have yet to meet one Muslim who is even close to extremist. I remember hearing that Islam spread so fast in the old world because you didn't have to pay taxes if you were a Muslim in a country under Islamic control but the only problem was that they didn't tell them how to preach/study it so a bunch of extremeist groups started up and that is why they are here today with such an immense following. And i'm guessing that in many small towns, religious people are the teachers and some of them happen to be extremist so that's how that 3 year old girl hated Jews.

Watch that Syriana movie, it puts into perspective as well i thought.
 
I'm really curious what you think about this, I'm from the Netherlands and it was a huge political riot here. Geert Wilders build up the tension for a few months, he said it was going to be a huge movie. It was kind of an anticlimax when it came out, it ain't even acted or something. The only thing you'll see is just some videos you might already have seen in the media. You can see it as some sort of compilation.

I think this films does contain some facts, but on the other hand I know that not all muslim are bad people. In fact some of my friends are muslims. I'm not a fan of Geert Wilders though, he's here an almost extremely right-winged politician. In your eyes maybe not, I think you guys would see him as an "normal" Republican. Not to bash your country, but that's just the difference between the Dutch political view and the American political view. Hell, even Barack Obama would be right-winged (?) here.

Btw, I thought Geert Wilders was on Bill O' Reilly, when O' Reilly said that the Netherlands needed to send more troops to Afghanistan he said that was the right thing to do. Funny thing is that Geert Wilders said here that we have to get our troops as soon as possible away from Afghanistan...

Last thing, did you guys also saw the plain crash in Amsterdam?

extremist or not, to follow a religion that is this brutal towards women, jews, and non-believers, as Islam evidently is, is scary. I know a good portion of the muslims out there don't support these whack-jobs, but something needs to be done about it. It's up to the muslim community to alienate these fucks, not just denounce them half heartedly.

show me some film of christians removing the heads of non believers. I'm talking about today, not in the crusades, which these people seem to be stuck in. Or a christian murdering someone for making a film. If that was true, people like Bill Maher and that fat fuck michael moore would be dead.
 
Wait, you're talking about Islam? The fundamentalist sect, yes, but actual Islam isn't about any of those things at all.

I'm actually pleasantly surprised with most of the responses in this thread, it's almost like people have starting thinking rationally and analyzing the things they are talking about with real knowledge. Those who have an informed opinion, I thank you!
 
I'm sorry, is there a clean version of the quoran that the non fundamentalists read? Are there 2 different versions? I'm saying a religion based on these principles is scary. Sharia law..

Im not familiar with the bible, but does it advocate honor killings? How about an agenda for world domination and the cleansing of those who don't adhere to its word?

this is true, but the difference between extreme Christians and extreme muslims is that christians are mostly peacefull, they preach peace and loving, while the extremest muslims want to kill everyone who isnt muslim. theres a big difference there
 
poverty breeds extremism. they are not radicals because they're Muslims they're radicals because they're desprate. Islam is only they're excuse
