The fail of the new wave

Hello. I would like to speak how I feel about this shit.

First of all. It’s trying to be natural, artistic, flow. But it’s a completely forced and non-TAO. How come a bs swap to sw kiss the rail is more appreciated than a smooth bs swap to forward. If you ski like most swooshes for five years you would probably have a spine of a 89 year old gypsy witch who has been loose on her offerings to deity.

It’s like the more forced it is the more instagram likes it will get, no matter what the true impact of those tricks have on the body longterm… I skied with one of them, he build this super sketchy feature with a kink too blood clot and hard flat landing. I hoped over that canon kink to get my point across.

The 2010 style was real and had a real foundation and humor was great.

I mean, some of it is dope. LeeB is an excellent left-hand path skier. But he doesn’t try advocate destruction, but a true artistic style where the spirit is still on top. Difficulty is disregarded to a sense where its more focuses on great GLORY.

Ok, my foundation for this text might not be great, but i guess its suiting for these people with no foundation who believe that a they are the way when they are 8 feet under. Descending pentagram is confusing!

LOL.

WHERE IS THE GREAT RETURN

I don't know if I'm just not caught up on some termonology or if this shit just doesn't make any sense. I do agree though a lot of new wave is just averege skiing with a lot of arm flailing. Overall it's just shitty.

yeah your clearly avoiding looking at "new wave" skiers who actually shred harder than you ever will. trackpants and vishnus are the exception not the rule. If you look at pbone, cal carson, dylan manley, chris franchino, etc (all of whom would be considered "new wave") youll notice that absolutely none of them are forcing their style. Quite frankly while 2010 era skiing was dank as shit and played a huge role in forming freestyle skiing, i think that oldheads should chill the fuck out with their 3xl superiority complex and try to understand that trends change, and so does the "ideal" style over time. /endrant

How does it feel to be the salty old head already? I have no idea your physical age, but your mentality is clearly that of a washed up has been/never was.

And this is coming from a old dude. Trends change, sports evolve. Learn to appreciate each new generation/style for what it is and you’ll enjoy life more.
