the east coast has a 4 month ski season. icy snow. -35 temps. and is smelly.

the west coast has 7 month season. tons of soft fluffy pow. usually just get below zero. and has hot girls in skiing in bikinis in the spring.

This is what discovered when i ventured to telluride and colorado. East Coasters who push the limits out here aka bomb glades find backcountry cliffs are used to fuckin icy landings and in the park it the same deal so when you go out there it like this is so easy and you ride twice as well. But come on now the east coast maybe be exploding buts its always about even in the park and more for the west in big mountian.

 
best example, a guy I know (from the east) went out a year to whistler, and he killed everything, he won like 2 or 3 comps I think, and when he came back to Quebec he was like half as good as he was before.

West Coasters, look at your parks, anyone would get super good riding those features.

its not always that east coasters are good but i think they push more becasue we have a shorter skiing seaon. we ski icy parks and have to addapt to the -40 weather....oh well, its worth it

i really dont think its a matter of living on the east coast. or the west coast. its a matter of how well you can ski. all around. park, bumps, powder, cliffs, etc. sorry guys, but just being able to ski park all day doesnt make you a good skier. a good skier is one that can ride anything. any kind of conditions. one that can ski park on the east coast all the time, but then go out west to ski and be able to ski just as well in the powder and steeps out there.

east coast is sooo much more baddass... its like this.. we ski every thing, glades, groomed, powder (when we have it) and a good amount of park. plus everyone i know started racing so they are obviously good all around. so we ski our ice, get good at it, get good at park, become killers all around, then come out wets and shred all of you a new asshole. its simple, and as witt said "we are just cooler anyways" word
