The Dumont, and is Two better than One?

Dudes,

Anyone got some words for the new Dumont's? I'm seconds from grabbing them, but want a second opinion from anyone lucky enough to have tried them out.

I am not going to the west coast this season, so I was thinking of getting an East coast park ski this year, and a BC ski next year, instead of an all around all mountain twin. Are two pairs the way to go if you've got the option?

havent rode them but i think they would be sick for a pure park ski, mainly becasue the ski is ment to be more forward mounted.

I got a buddy who is trying to sell his at $400... message me and I can put you in contact with him if you are interested.

dumonts are the only salomon ski id ever ski on again. foam cores get way to soft. dumonts are wood core so they should last longer.

two pairs are definetly the way to go if you can afford it. thats what ive done the past few years and it works great.

its not a solid wood core like you would think of....its wood pulp, so pretty much saw dust poured into a ski...i have no problem with that or the foam cores, keep the skis light, they are just going to get damp sooner than a normal wood core would, but thats like 3 seasons verses 5

I just got the dumonts too. They are coming in this week. fucking stoked.

I was originally planning on getting the SPK's but they were sold out and i ended up getting an awesome deal on the dumonts so i couldnt resist.

I hope they are as light and poppy as everyone is claiming. I will review them when i get a chance.
