The Death Knuckle

I used to love building jumps with death knuckles. You either eat shit or get absolute landing perfection - no in-between.

Of course, people don't like these in parks usually.

Dude that jump looks fine, especially for an Ontario jump.

Landing is long, steep, yah there is a gnarly knuckle but that just makes the landing that much smoother when you do clear it properly.

Jump in theory would be fine if you could get speed... The transitions look fine. But you can't get speed, and thus the jump needs to be adjusted. Taking off a bit of pop on the take off should project you a farther by increasing your horizontally velocity, and then take off a bit of height of the landing to compensate for the loss of vertical velocity.

You're talking about them having way to little snow and an uneducated park operator. So yes is sounds like you don't know what you're talking about.

Whether you like the jump or not they clearly know how to build stuff. Just because somebody hasn't taken a park specific course doesn't mean they can't build well. East coast jump lines are built mostly with man made snow. As long as it's cold nbd. Also those jumps are good sized, so I still don't understand the comment about no snow.

In your posts you said more than likely that they're park operator blows at building parks, and anyone who thinks that jump would be fun as hell is an idiot with no terrain park knowledge. Sweet
