i really thought this was going to Push/Pull from a few years back. delightfully surprised.that was crazy, that gap had to be only about 15 feet max?
 
anyone seen the one where the guy flies between the trees? that was pretty crazy, but this was nuts too
 
There is going to be a brutal accident in this one of these days, it scares the crap out of me.... because when it happens, there isn't gonna be much left.... so so so insane..... and insanely epic, but it scares the bejesus out of me, the margin for error is non existent!
 
thats the same guy from that other thread where he buzzes those trees. guys nuts. jokke something or other is his name.
 
It does happen. This guy recently died when he didn't make the route he had planned. This is not the video, but it shows the place where he had his accident.

If you watch the video, you can see the big cutout to the right. He tried to fly through that instead of going around to the left, but didn't make it. He had a masters degree and did research with wingsuits in school. So things can still go wrong even if you calculate it and take many precautions. But it is what anyone risks when they take part in an extreme sport they love.
