The Covid, Patrollers and Hunter

We are on day 2 of Hunter being closed. The Jersey Shore of ski areas.

Mixed reports of all/most patrol staff out with Covid and/or patrol staff on strike due to Covid and Vails treatment of them.

See how long this goes for...
 
I've heard that a bunch of Lake Tahoe resort employees are going to strike this Friday. Anyone know how much truth there is to this?
 
I only skied hunter once, it was a weekday and I was pretty impressed with some of the steps and off the back end trails not bad terrain. The rumors I hear about the weekends and how awful it can be keep me away. Hope all the patrollers get better that sucks but doesnt surprise me with everyone from the city going there
 
Just checked the IG. Rumors are flying around and comments are being deleted. It would be interesting to know whats up.

That place is a cesspool at the best of times. I dont blame the employees pushing back if they dont feel safe.
