You could do just as much damage falling 10 ft. onto concrete. Also, Chad's on a powder day is pretty safe. Wind Up's Tee Time is proof. Dudes hitting the wall upside down and walking away from it.
Yes it's at UNH and i've stared at it for a long time and come to the conclusion that it is pretty much impossible. It's too steep on the first down to make that corner and just generally gnarly as fuck looking
As far as difficulty goes, it's absolutely comparable. As for consequence... no. You need a bigger drop-off or a pit of sharks or something. A rail has to be more than just technical to compare, it has to be fucking dangerous for those who fail.
No rail can really compare to Chad's gap... The rail would need to be wicked high and be deadly if you fell off... its not bcuz a rail is really technical with a bunch of kinks that its as dangerous as chads gap.. any one can try any rail and walk away form it, but trying chad's gap... odds are, if you dont make it, your not walking away from it. haha
a year ago it would have been in McCall, Idaho. We had the "Legacy Park Rail" it was a quad kink that C-ed to the left, only 5 people have ever done it, which includes one blader, one skier, and three snowboarders.
