There is one reason why the comp sucked ass, NO SKIERS. Yesterday, skiers such as Jon Mcmurray and Wes Harris were scheduled for the competition, unfortunately they were the only skiers entered in the whole event and Ripzone found it unfair to them. Instead of asking the dopest skiers to date in this fine city what they thought about it, they booted them from what would have been one of the best ski/board comps to date in Calgary. Since there were no skiers, id like to say the comp sucked massive scrotum and that if they do this next year, it better be better because they pissed off many a fan. On a secondary note, the slushcup was also cancelled due to nobody showing up, kinda funny but really pathetic. JEA!

it was great cause nakiska was empty, me bell and jb pretty much had the park to ourselves except for the odd family that decided to rip through the park

all the skiers showed up, jon mcmurray and alot of pro's, they werent allowed to compete when they did show up and the announcer made fun of skiers 3 times in the rail jam

chad there were like maybe 5 skiers that showed up...and i can respect ripzones choice mainyl because they're a core boarding company and have never ever done skiing comps before, why let a single team of 3 compete with like 20 boarder teams...thats where they came from...i knew almost every boarder in the comp and they wanted to compete with the boys but it would've been dumb...especially when it came to prizing...none of them had fuck all to do with skiing what so ever...and a slush cup at cop, common, thats the gayest bullshit i've ever heard in my life...thats sunshines thing

the reason there were no skiers allowed was because they fucked up on the insurance, they had it for boarders but couldn't get it for skiers....same shit thats happened in previous years

it sucks cuz 3 of the 5 skiers who did show drove back from fernie the night before just to be in it
