there is not enough snow in June for a half decent park and A-Basin is not allowed to shoot snow during spring or summer.

they have no need to blow snow even if they are allowed. its snowed a few feet the last few weeks

yeah but by mid june i bet you lose snow so fast you would have to rebuild every half an hour and take snow from other parts of the hill. and by the end of june they just have a thin strip of snow down the hill.

dude you have no idea wat you are talking about...have you ever even been there, last year i was there on june 13th...and june 22nd and July 3rd the year before, and there was enough snow on both days in june for there to still be a park, and even on the july 3rd day u could ski top to bottom on runs

Well A-Basin told Josh that there would not be enough snow in June (that is why the camp is in May?) so go argue with them.

the city of denver actually does have snow blowing restrictions. even if a-basin wanted to blow more, they legally can't. where does that water come from? our drinking supply. the problem is they didn't blow enough at the beginning of the season.

 
^yaya my dad is a water rights lawyer and he said that the Forest Service will not let them blow snow during melt off season.

Yeah dude i was at A-Basin b4 i got hurt and i was hitting the only jump that they had. The landing was REALLY short. I bottumed and my boys yoyo'd. That hurt a lot. They need to get better at shaping jumps and find better places to put them.

I fucked up my shoulder in march after my slopestyle havnt been up since. Hitting A-Basin this weekend for the first time since then. Gonna be insane

clearing the hip looks like a nice jump. i think it was littlefreerider that threw a nice 3 over that at the end of the day yesterday

Ok the real reason behind the closure of a-basin so early is not because of melting snow at all, it is because they are doing construction to the base area
