The Bunch = Idiots

Ive been a member since 2005 and have been skiing since most of you young kids were deep in daddy's nut. I have watched freestyle skiing progress all these years, pushing the boundaries of what is "possible". This year is the first year I can safely say that Skiing has regressed all thanks to the idiot movement called "new wave" with its poster child "The Bunch". These flannel wearing children should be in special education rather than out in the streets terrorizing real skiers. What happened to the times when technicality was praised rather than the drip you can get at the local homeless shelter?

To prove my point of how irrelevant they are, here's what you get if you search the bunch skiing. See? just a bunch of people skiing.

To further prove my point (as if I already haven't made it clear enough), I just watched "color", absolute garbage. Sure, these kids can get a degree in cinematography but that's where it ends. The Bunch, I'm here to help you, please reach out to me. I have my PSIA level 1 certification and I'd be happy to spend a day with you guys learning the basics of skiing like edge control and pizza (let's not get too excited here, I think it will take a few days to get there).

Op you say you have been a member since 2005, but your profile says feb 2019.

That’s fine that you don’t like the bunch and what not. Everyone will ski their own way. As long as what people are doing is making them happy that’s what counts.
 
you could pick pretty much any topic on earth and about 50% of people will hate/dislike/disagree with it.. just do what you enjoy and be nice to people

U realize buhsch or whatever his name is did the first ever quad 19 this year right? Skiing has progressed this year, and will continue to progress no matter how wavey the world gets. Even so, all The Bunch is doing is showing that you don’t need to huck your meat and have arthritis and two fake hips by 30 to be pushing the boundaries of skiing. Delete your internet old man the future is W A V E Y.
 
Could not agree more, Skiers with perfect style and fundamentals like Dylan Sondrup should be getting paid instead of the trendy noodle skiers that upload a bunch of trendy lightwork clips to instagram. At the end of the day its all about social media following not skiing ability. Watch Dylans slvsh games he is clearly better than tom ritsch and sampo wallot yet those guys have sponsors and he seems to have lost his.
 
I dont know how you can possibly say that when Every single dude in the Bunch is a very very good "technical skier". I know your idea of a traditionally good skier. The sad part is you cant see that they have already mastered fundamental skiing and are now doing stuff that no one is thinking about doing, that is the true definition of a professional. Maybe do a little homework and see guys like hackel, lsm and peyben shred the resort and pow before you say such a thing again.

All these anti new wave/anti bunch threads are insane . Y'all are literally just going "I don't like this , therefore nobody should like it" over And over again . If anything is irrelevant it's whining about how other people ski . Swear to God , one week comp skiers are ruining the sport by spinning too much , next week "new wave" skiers are ruining the sport by not spinning enough ???!? Swear it's like half of ns doesn't even like skiing , just likes watching it .

I've been lucky enough to hang out with The Bunch in Riks and they are all super humble, very very talented and do things on skis that make your head spin. :)
 
Decent April fools day troll. The bunch could switch carve down your local hill before you click into your bindings. Not to mention the special education call out? If youre 15 years older than all of us why dont you grow up?

"i've been a member since..." is the NS equivalent of "As a local I believe..", both of which are often followed up by unsolicited whining. People that whine about the Bunch are worthless. Whining about the bunch is like whining about a TV show you don't like, nobody gives a fuck about your opinion on it, and if you don't like it don't watch it. Didn't your parents ever tell to not say anything at all if you don't have something constructive to say?
 
The skiing scene these days is just like the music scene, they'll always be old heads there to look down on the new generation. "I'm older so I know more"-OP

There are a lot worse and more annoying or overhyped new wave skiers, ngl some of the bunch tricks are pretty sick

Ay fuck bunch. These bitches cant ski and the editing in their movies is thrash. It's so wrong that the real style lords like Nicholas Goepper and Andri Ragettli get much less respect from the community.
