The best pro skier...

a proffessional is someone who slays comps, appeals to an audience, and films. on these stamdards, who is the best "pro"
 
Well Wallisch has everyone riding his dick, slays in comps and pretty much has some of the best film segments
 
Def Wallisch he was back east for Christmas got to ride with him yesterday for a few hours. Just slays ANYTHING and EVERYTHING. Just an all round badass dude. Hasnt changed at all from when he was nothing to now. I love it its sick.
 
Saying wallisch is the best skier in the world is like saying Seth or Doug Coombs is the best skier in the world......fuckin JONGS
 
Cody Townsend, Henrik Windstedt , body miller......perhaps if he would have said park skier I would say wallisch but he simply asked what PRO is the best at filming, competing and appeals to people. Seth and doug coombs were bad examples since they don't compete
 
LJ strenio he may ot have the best comp results but he puts out good segments in rage and meatheads and he's actually a nice guy.
 
uuh what abut hatveit? he slays comps better than everybody, xgames, dew tour, kos etc... he is a really nice guy, smiles all the time and he has some banger segments! wallischs comp results is nothing compared to hatveits really... and now that he has his own park in the backyars, he will probably slays everything in the future

we are talking all-round here. tom, as far as i know, hasn't quite taken on any huge cliffs or monster pow lines in his career. however, dont get me wrong, im sure he could do it.
 
or tanner though.. he has won xgames more than any other.. slope/pipe/bigair(?)... guess he is a pretty nice guy, and he SLAYS backcountry and big moutain
 
Ya skiing wise, he is clearly an incredible skier seeing as he is good enough to race at the FIS level, pretty much started the double flip craze and I'm sure he will make his way to the backcountry soon. Andreas also slays just as hard as wallisch in park, maybe not with the same type of style that appeals to the youngsters but a sick style non the less.
 
Olsson has won a couple of Swedish backcountry championships. Tanner and Jon are the most well-versed universally when it comes to skiing.
 
Jossi wells kills in the pipe and everything else in the park, plus he's sick in the BC. Sammy Carlson is awesome too........
 
TJ would be another good pick. He's very good at the non-skiing side of being a pro as well.
 
ok, people you are not gonna like this, but really, if yuou truly think about it, good ol simon dumont and tanner hall, they are the best comp skiers, they are the most all around "famous" skiers, and their segments...ummm....sick
 
Uh, I think your point is Wallisch is mainly good at park so you named two mainly powder skiers, but they don't compete which is one thing the OP said your choice should have.

Maby you should have said Cody Townsend or something.

Or at least not named a dead person.

Sammy by far he had shots in 3 pro movies aswelll as his own movie and he did the the best at the city big airs this year and he podiums in pretty much every slope event. not to mention hes like 18 or 19 and wallisch is 23 or something.
 
Thall or Twall... both defined generations of park skiers plus both have a broader appeal beyond our sport such as ESPN and MTV. twall prob one of, if not the most talented park skiers out there and thall was probably the best at park back in like 04 or 05, plus hes probably one of the top bc skiers out nowadays
