I want to get a digital camera this summer. It should be a poit and shoot not an SLR. I don't know what brand or style is good.What should I get and why? thanks

personaly, i really like sony point and shoots. Easy to use, great shots and pretty affordable. But more specifically, what are you going to be shooting? what mega pixel you looking for? and how much you willing to spend?

uhh probably mostly like pics around town, ski comps, landscapes. Under $600 and IDK about the megapixels.

canon makes legit compacts.

if you're gonna be using it in low light get an IS model. it'll produce much shaper pics with a slower shutter speed

Sony DSCH50 is a point and shoot camera. It is not a DSLR but designed like a DSLR. Basically, it's a very easy version to use of an DSLR.
