The Average NewSchooler

Just a random thought . . . How good do you think that the averge NS member is at skiing? what tricks? ability level??? poserness???

Can throw 540s over 25 foot tables, can 270 out occasionally, owns two pairs of skis, wears outerwear that was really stylish two seasons ago, and is stoked about dropping a 20 foot cliff in the backcountry last season.

I would say.... can three consistently, CAN do 5's but... can 270 out one way consistently, maybe the other way sometimes. and 2-7s onto flat boxes. Then of course there are the outliers that are much worse or much better, but i think thats a good average.

As far as real skiing, powder and such, I think an NSer on average will be a lot better than most, or else REALLY bad at skiing powder.

I would say that a lot more NSers blow at real skiing beacause they just went straight to the park and did not learn to ski.

actually, well atleast at my hill, most people started to race and then followed the older kids to the park and then dropped racing and went fully to the park. thats what i did

the NSer can enjoy skiing no matter where they are, be it hauling down a groomer, jibbing a barrel in their backyard or shredding pillow lines. NS enjoys skiing.
