Well summer NSG is in full swing so I figured I would counter the shitty dip thread with a good dip thread.

What are your favorite dips?

Personally I'm a guacamole kind of guy, I also love the guac burger at Chilis. Hummus isn't that bad and bean dip is also pretty good.

What are your guys/gals favorite dips? Please share any good recipes!

Cheese sauce. I work at an Irish restraunt and use that stuff on everything.... Fish, burgers, lasagna, chicken. Even drink it sometimes.

Op covered most of the good ones. If you like dipping regular potato chips that classic onion dip made with onion soup and sour cream is pretty good too.

Tzatziki also makes a great dip for chips, pitas or veggies.

The restaurant I work at sells gyros and holy cow is he right about tzatziki sauce. They are awesome with pita chips and basically anything else. totally forgot about that one

kinda a salsa, but super good and super easy. just a bunch of veggies diced up: 1 yellow pepper, 1 tomato, 1 shallot, 3 jalapenos. mix. add chips

I owe a great deal of my success to artichoke dip. The secret is not mince the artichoke hearts to oblivion, but instead dice them so you get a kick of artichoke every bite or so. Also Don't use fat free cream cheese, Its a fatal mistake.
