Just here to share some thoughts about snowboarder vs skier style. Companies such as SAGA, ORAGE, and HOLDEN all have their outerwear styling on point. I don't know their history, or much about any of them for that matter, but I've seen them all geared towards skiers and worn mainly by skiers.
I am a snowboarder who made the transition from wearing Thirtytwo, 686 and Burton TO Orage and Holden. Main reason is the styling is so much better, both in functionality followed by fashion. The LONG CUT jackets are great. They offer phenomenal protection and look absurdly badass. They make long jackets that doesnt sacrifice width, and baggy pants that don't have ridiculously oversized waist unlike 32 and 686.
Now I am one of the few snowboarders that wear Ski Brand outerwear. I love all the boarders that ask me what type of jacket/pants I have on. I've got a few friends that wear Saga and I can say that they are great quality wear. Nothing but love for skiers and snowboarders alike.
As for the original post, I love both styles. The skinny pants are great, I have a pair and I love the change in feel and styling. When I don't feel like going baggy, I go skinny. Best of both worlds.
