The 2010-11 Saga Thread

I'm not gonna say what exactly but there were a few hundred packages packed and ready to have a label put on and shipped out. I'm 5'10" and the jacket is mid thigh and the pants are long and baggy once the zips are open.

Cause I couldn't open every single package?!?! Tim D was there signing stickers and I got two of em plus three unsigned ones. But there were literally hundreds of packages getting ready to be shipped,,,,,soo be happy!! They were way chill and nice to me! :)
 
I ordered two sweatshirts on Friday for the free one deal they had going on. Got my shipping confirmation Monday & package arrived today. The free sweatshirt is sick. Plan on ordering a XL Hybrid jacket tonight.
As for all the kids freaking out, STFU. It will be worth the wait!
 
They had every color of course? But I dunno about sizes. Just that he said 70% of shit is in and the rest comes next week. And yes I got lobster and hybrid too. Dope.
 
dude, just send it as a pic message to your email..then save it to your comp, use an image hoster, then post that shit up! WE WANNA SEE.
 
just got a post office slip in the mail today, hoping its saga, if not it's eyetrip or revolver (which i ordered at the beginning of pre-orders...)so i'm stoked
 
i know.. he sent me like 20 some pictures of his jacket and pants.. hahaha i was like wtf.. people want pictures of the warehouse..

post the best pics of the gear anyway, im gonna be up for a couple more hours doing a practice exam and i want something to distract me
 
Bad news guys... i heard that L and M got back ordered, so it won't get to utah until the 8th. Not sure if this info is legit or not, but it bums me out nonetheless
 
so where'd you hear this from if you arent making it up, cause you posted like 30 minutes ago and didnt say anything about it...

i havent called BS on anything yet, but i think im gonna do it here.

also when something is "backordered" it means that it's out of stock so any orders placed after the stock runs out will be filled whenever new stock arrives...which we all know is impossible here because Saga only does one run of gear every season

...unless you're referring to some sort've screwup between Saga and their manufacturers (here we go again?)
 
haha thats me! and yes its true i called andrew at saga and he told me this long story and i believe it. they got backordered at the factory in asia that makes there gear. he assured me it would be in asap.
 
back ordered means they've sold all their stock and you have to wait until they get more. doubt thats the case.
 
It's when rumors like this start flying around that I really wish there was some kind of update to reference. I understand that shipments can be late, and I totally respect the amount of effort that the guys have been putting in to ship everything out, but for a large portion of their clients who have yet to get any gear let alone a shipping notice, it's pretty frustrating.

I'd rather hear about a shipping delay from Saga when they know than let a bunch of rumors fly around before confirming them a week later. At least then people can try to make other arrangements for outerwear.
 
Got my jacket a few weeks ago but it's a christmas present so I can't wear it yet. And just to clear everything up yes, my mom did pay for it. I don't get why everyone bitches because someone's parents bought them something. I currently do not have a jacket and it's gonna be 10 and snowing this weekend. should be fun!
 
All I have said In previous posts is true. Just wait one more week till everything from china comes in. Preorders were supposed to START shipping on 11/30. It's going into their third day and they are doing pretty good with getting packages set up. They can't service everyone at once so give them a break. They are doing the best they can with only 4 guys running it. The only bad thing is how long it takes to get a respond from them. Other than that the outerwear is the shot, and the guys take care of you once you get ahold of them. So chill everyone, so they can work on shipping your damn outerwear.
 
^ hahahaha i feel like every time someone gets their gear this immediately becomes their attitude toward all the frustrated people who dont have their stuff yet
 
Notice that I'm not one of the people in the thread who's getting angry or complaining about Saga's service. I'm just agreeing with everyone's frustration.

All I'm saying is that an update is overdue. Hopefully a good chunk of larges are in stock regardless, but at least then can put this speculation to rest so people can just chill.
 
an update would for sure be nice, i know how antsy i was for a while, and to those above, backorder means back on order, meaning its not available to be shipped out to customers.
