That's it That's all - the sequel

i hope candide sees this so he will know the level that his movie needs to be at, skiing has just as much if not more potential for a movie like this as long as they get the right riders on board

its something about the redbull ans quiksilver teamup as well. i have no doubt that if grouped with two large companies that could provide incredible graphics, a production company like level 1 or PBP could make a movie like this given a few years' time. but they're a ways off right now.

although t rice and candide are both on the same unhuman level, i don't think that candide could make a movie by himself on the same level as the brain farm movies. t rice has quite the supporting cast, and i'm not sure if candide could match that.

blasphemy, i know.

I don't know, they'd have to make a lot of changes. The biggest thing being crew size. The number 1 thing I notice in good snowboard movies is a small, ridiculously banger crew of homies. All ski movies try to put waayyyyyy too many riders in each movie.
Cut that shit out, it takes away from the bangers when you do the PBP thing and make an hour long movie with 20 people in it.

exactly.IMO there are three main factors that will decide the level of which candides movie is on:
1. Crew- he needs to get the other top big mtn/ backcountry riders on board such as Sean P, Sage, Tim D, Dana F, and others. Guys who are going to want to push it, just like TRICE
2. Production value. They must and i say MUST shoot with the cineflex heli system and phantom hd cameras if they want to get on the brain farm level and not look like every other ski movie. obviously this has a lot to do with budget so i can only hope that they get another big sponsor on board
3. Locations- far out, not typical ski movies locations (with the obvious exception of Alaska)

These guys are so impressive because they aren't afraid to fail trying new things. Just because no one else in the world can do it doesn't mean i can't.

looks fucking amazing! Every shot was banger!

And did that one guy just ditch his sled mid air and went into a frontflip?

the candide movie isn't gonna be just candide.
i know for instance that they already made a trip to kamchatka last may including the likes of richard permin and guerlain chicherit. rad location, rad crew. i'm sure that the footage will be rad from that trip alone.
i don't know if the budget for candide's movie will be anything like TITA or TAOF. if it isn't then we shouldn't compare them. if it is (please god) then we can. the production value on the candide kamera edits was fucking excellent, so whether it goes down as skiing's equivalent of trice's stuff or not, it will be sick.
that and RMS' All I Can will be unreal I've no doubt

dont get me wrong, i never said candide's movie wasn't going to be epic. he is the gnarliest skier on earth no doubt. but all things being equal (filming, budget, etc.), because of t rice's supporting cast actually being able to keep up with him, the t rice movie will always be better.

Unless MSP or TGR or Candide or whoever owns or gets access to the equipment Brainfarm has they won't be able to touch some of the shots Brainfarm gets. Read over a bit of the tech, even if you don't know much about cameras I think you can understand how 1000 frames per second and 1080p resolution is INSANE.

Especially when that footage is coming from a camera with a built in gyroscopic stabilizer that is controlled wirelessly from a filmer sitting inside of the helicopter that the camera is mounted underneath.
