Those are mostly 9 hook, single stitch.

If I use a 6, they are alot tighter. I can also double stitch them (even triple) and make them thick and warm.

A 9 double is the warmest hat you will ever wear.
 
love this guys stuff. had my hat and gaiter for a couple years and they're holding up great.
