THAT - Forum Team Movie

I know there's already a thread. But no one posted the actual link to the movie therein. So I made a new one.
 
that was a sweet move, a bunch of the team came and had a premier at western michigan, the super cool that its online, i'm definitely gonna watch it again
 
Sort of why I posted it. Everyone on here seems burnt on ski flicks, so here's a good snowboarding one for free!

PS...bitching soundtrack, amazing use of still shots, not gay goofing off shit

This is a good snowboarding movie, but there are others that are much better than this, kinda scary when compared to ski movies.
 
lol....are u serious......$$$$$ :) If you have the money to get really good riders and know what the fuck is up about who is ill, alot of money to have like 3 cameras on one trick and really good editors. Alot of it has to do all with money though.
 
THAT is much better than any ski movie ever. Snowboard completly and undeniably kills skiing in powder as far as jumps. I watched LSS just after I watched THAT and THAT by far kills LSS. No question. The editing, the music and above all the riding. The jumps in THAT are much much larger than anything being done into powder by skiers. When will skiers step up?
 
Thats what im saying man, it seems Theory3 are the only people stepping up the riding year after year...LSS sucked, from the sounds of it so did ski porn. skiing vids are certinly lacking. something needs to be done.
 
The only movies i liked this year was Anomoly and Show and Prove (i had an itch to watch pow pow)

I turned off Ski Porn and LSS before the end....got bored
 
dude, it's not the money, they're just good at making movies. From the editing to the music to the footage, it's all about using what you have. On the same budget you couldn't get a ski movie director to make a movie that is half as good.

I think the bigest factor in movies besides for the footage is the music. The music sets the tone and vibe for the movie. Good music will make you want to watch it over and over again, whil crappy music makes you turn it off before he end. I've watched almost all the ski movies this season, and I'd have to say all the tracks in THAT top any used in a ski movie. For some reason ski movies just pick crappy songs. There's been a bunch of good songs in the past, but you need to get a good amount of them ino a movie to really make it good. If the music is too mellow (photoplay) it'll put you to sleep and make the movie boring. I think the best songs are the ones that pump you up, aka ones with fast, loud beats. Ski movies also need to learn when to use slow mo and when not to. They have the footage to be good, but I think it's a combo of the right music and editing that really makes a movie great. Thats my opinion with whats wrong with ski movies
 
you got bored watching LSS...yet you love Show & Prove? wow. hmmmm...that's reeealllyy interesting.
 
No, it's called "Cali Bluebird" and whatever part comes after that one. Unless there's a secret "all Vanular, all the time" edit of LSS, Show and Prove is better, just based on the strength of 2-3 segments.

That, as a snowsports film, destroys every movie I've seen this year (granted, there's a couple snowboard movies I haven't seen yet), including More by Absinthe (More has "better" snowboarding, but it's not as good a movie). I hope whoever is planning on making the next skiing team movie is taking notes.
 
i guess i'm one of the few that can watch long story short, oh well. i'd rather watch a full movie than only 2-3 segments, but different people different opinions eh?

agreed on the second part though, except the More part since i haven't seen it still. but That. is the only movie i've bought since...awhile.
 
seriousllyy??????? wheres the song?? which one did they use??? i saw them in concert, i wanna use one of there songs, it be perfect.
 
oh, and That was really good (omg lol haxxx! punzorz). Man, so much of that movie was in stockholm... the bowl and and the little jibbing animals/low rail were all here... i feel speshul.
