Thalls AR7s or Halos?

Right now I am about 5"7 135lbs and I ski all elements of park.. I like a a real playful ski for buttering and whatnot.. but will start to be hitting bigger jumps.. would the thalls be to soft? AR7's to stiff? Halos just right?
 
I've skied on Halos and I currently ski on the AR7. I love both skis, but the AR7 works better for me on big jumps and on bigger park features, the Halo however was a bit more playful. But at the same time spinning on to rails could become a bit sketchy because they are rockered and therefor you would preferably get them a bit longer than usual. I love both, but if you are planning on hitting bigger jumps you might want to get the AR7, easier to learn and get comfortable in the air on those.
 
You're a pretty light dude, I would go with the thalls if I were you.

They will the perfect flex for a blend of skiing big features and buttering around.

 
I am afraid that If I get the AR7's or even te halos.. That they will be to stiff for my liking... I had the suspects and hated them, and had the punx and loved them..... Will a softer ski like the Thalls hold up on jumps?... Do you really need a stiffer ski for bigger jumps?.. Or is it just personal preference?... Explain why and if a softer ski on bigger jumps would be a bad idea
 
It really depends on your weight. If you're a bulky guy then a stiff ski is pretty much a must if you want to hit big kickers, but they if you're lighter a softer ski will do the job just fine.
 
What level of skier would you classify your self as? How hard are you on your skis, do they usually break pretty quickly? What size hill/mountain do you ski?

AR7's and t-halls are really similar and its really those questions that will help you decide the difference. If you want to be able to rip groomers as well and ski a bigger mountain than ar7's for sure. If your just skiing a small park then T-halls will be fine. The flex patterns are pretty similar, maybe try and get to a shop to feel both and see which one you like best.

If your looking for a rockered park ski maybe check out ON3p FR's in a 171, their on sale right now and their banger park skis, stiff enough to hit jumps but still super playful. Their also super light and really durable. They are also symmetrical in dimensions and rocker so you can mount them at center unlike the halo's.
 
These skis would ONLY be for park... I am currently shredding In Wisconsin.. But as I am getting better and competing more, and possibly moving to Denver.. I will be hitting bigger features, yet I like a ski you can be playful with... I am considerably harsh with skis... And rip through multiple pairs a season... As I begin to compete at a higher level of USSA and events out west, I will be hitting some of the bigger features out there
 
I'd go ar7's then, they will hold up better on bigger hits but still be fun to butter around on. I'd also seriously look in to the ON3P's, their basically the most durable park ski ever.
