what do people think of Teton gravity vids like prophecy and highlife? iv got some warren miller vids but they are so 90's even ride and cold fusion.

 
I don't have highlife, but I go the Prophecy for $5 at a ski shop, and it's good. I like it better than Warren Miller's stuff. Pepe's segment was okay, but short. I like all the big mountain stuff, and it's good to see something that has more big mountain skiing than jibbing.

warren miller is good for big mountain there is an amazin shoot in alaska with seth morrison in storm but the nearest thing to new school stuf is johyn mosely hostin some ninetys mogul/jump session. the teton website has loads of good deals with dvds and hoodys and shit

Tgr flicks kick ass. They are a million times better than Warren Miller. Sage had the best segment of the year in High Life and will not doubt have the best again this year.

TGR knows how to make a movie. Have seen Mind That Adiction and it was good. Warren Miller has made movies longer then any of these new young-guns so there isn't really comparing.

 
yeh there is the only really good tyhing about wmiller films is the film quality i think there filmed on 16mm or sumthin wich is much softer than digital like the tgr films but you cant get a 16mm camera someplaces which means shots are limited. digital cameras can go anywhere and even ataached to helmets so you get better shots, also there is an end to everything and wmiller films are looking way to dated now, the box set iv got (power of snow) has cold fusion,storm,ride and fifty they are all good but when you watch a tgr film you know whats missing, theres no edge. put it this way, you cant watch tgr with your dad but you can warren miller

 
most tgrs are filmed on sony digital, all warren millers are filmed on heavy ass proper cameras, just watch a waren miler and go to extras or production and you can see the the size of the things, how the fuk do you get one of those on someones head

 
you are so dumb... TGR films are 99% 16mm cept for helmet cam shots and a couple other random ones. 16mm cameras you can take just bout anywhere... if not why would MSP, PBP, PleHouse etc use them. Stop talking before you embarass yourself any more than you already have.
