I just saw the clip from stowe on their website and it looks so sick. I wonder if they are gonnna have a stowe segment in the next movie or if it will just be mixed in peoples segs

the stowe segment is just a mediocre tabletop filmed with a heli. it could have been shot anywhere, and is Nothing to get hyped about.

 
they built about 100 ft stepdown for tanner, chrischton and marc andre beliveu (i think, some canadien) it wasnt built to well, so it was cut down a bit and they had a little heli follow cam photo shoot thingy. and it was one of the sickested powder days i ever had at stowe, and this was in April

The jump was the scetchiest thing ever built, plus it was about 10 degrees out, perfect eh? Pretty nice shots to come out of the east though. Stowe is ill.

 
yea i heard about that jump, but stowe has been known to stretch some numbers in the past

i think powder skiing is like surfing, it is really hard to watch and appreciate it unless you do it. I live in the east and don't ski pow', I also find it really borign to watch in movies unless its well edited or somethign sdifferent than skiing down a huge steep chute.

i had a sick day last march at mt. snow. foot and a half of fresh......... skipped school, went skiing.

we do get powder on the east! just not nearly as much as the west. except jay peak.
