Everyone woukd be better with more resources but it's not worth wasting time being bitter.
There are a bunch of people with crazy reources tha rip, there are also kids with nothing but a okay park, no coaching, that rip just as hard.
If you really want it in skiing, you can get pretty good without that stuff. The sport has changed a bunch but I'd try not to waste too much time on how much better you could have been if you has this or that opportunity.
Your really only as good as you are. Hypotheticals aren't really tangible. If you want to be sick at skiing but can't go to summer camp, ski fucking hard all season, build a summer setup in the off season. Ski with friends that push you. Have fun.
Also these days there's a ton of people sponsored etc that aren't going out wnning the big comps, dont have triples etc. Having sick style goes a long way, especially some unique flair you can pick up on your own.
Idk, i get it, but just make sure you don't let it suck the joy out if skiing. There will always be somebody better than you, and somebody that has way more opportunities. Easier said than done, and fortune cookie vibes, but make the best with what you've got and send it!

It's also cool to hate on TGR because they are not park centric in their film making.
What people fail to realize is that people who are not in to park skiing see the same thing from every park segment, just like park rats see the same thing from big mountain segments. If you put yourself in a position to enjoy both, then you can pick out the truly amazing pieces and variety of each.

I bought one of their hats at a film festival when I first moved to Tahoe. About 6 months later, I swear everyone had the hat. I even saw kids in the south wearing it when I visited my parents. That’s when I knew it was time to ditch it.
