Terrain Park Shoutout: Bromley, VT

I lapped Bromley's terrain park yesterday (12/26/19). It's totally legit.

The jumps are really really well made with excellent take-offs and landings to match. Plenty of speed to keep your momentum from start to finish, from the jump to jump. I don't think any of the their jumps are big enough for doubles, but you'd have no problem throwing 900s off the biggest kicker.

The rails seem to have nice flow, too. There's a double-kink, a rainbow, a few boxes, a pyramid, and a few straight rails.

The difference this year is that Bromley hired a consulting company, Arena Snow Parks, to analyze and build their park. It's a game-changer.

Go hit it. You can lap all day on the Plaza Lift.

I was actually just showing a friend a pic of bromleys new setup the other day. Driving past it and seeing pictures back in the day it looked sad as fuck. Good to see them killing it.

Good to hear. I went to Bromley 4 years ago and the park was one of the worst I have skied. Goes to show you that a little support into the park program goes a long way.

Stoked to see this. Bromley has always been kinda hit or miss but this is sick. Was bummed when I heard that they lost Lord’s Prayer cuz they used to never run plaza chair but now its the park chair and that’s sick af

Putting Stratton to shame right now. Bromley has always had a fun park.

I was back Bromley again today, and the three big kickers were great again despite the fog and ice we had a couple of days ago.

So Stratton has stunk for real this year?

They have snowboarders that build their park and everything is setup as ride ons. They have only just recently opened their "big" park over on "big ben" and they tried to get creative. It's almost like they saw what woodward is doing over at killington and tried to make their own version. It's a real shame because back in the day, Suntanner use to be a great park and Byrneside had some of the largest jumps on the east. Now Stratton is all about catering to people who like the groomers and their racing programs.
