I got bored day in class today, my mind started to wonder. So I started thinking of how to make a ski video and what to put in it. I started thinking of a cool intro for the film. I would put a skier giving a speach with a big-a** tv with bada** skiing footage chillin behind the skier in the background. He gives a speech something like this:

'Skiing is not a sport, but a lifestyle.

Some people question 'why' and wonder 'how'. They just can't seem to grasp 'how' or 'why' we do what we do. Others don't understand, they just continue to wonder. The truth of the mater is that we can't explain it either. All we can say is 'snow so deep you sink up to your hips', 'hits so big you can't see the landing', 'rails with all kinds of bends and kinks', 'natural cliffs and tree runs that you can't explain with any other word than sick' and still they don't understand what we do. On a board or skiis, it is the same. A feeling of freedom and expression in a way so uncommon. But still, they don't understand....

Megs, a good friend of mine says: 'Feel the fear, and do it anyway.' When you do, than you will understand.'

And the video starts up. I dunno, just wondering what you guys and gals thought of that. I have that speech in my aol info, I think it is badass!

Thats acually pretty good. If not done right it would be cheesy as hell though. Props.

the only way to find out if it works is to go out and film it, stick it together and see if you like it

just reading it made it kind of gay. cut it up. do filming of natural cliffs big jumps deep pow. and tree runs fading in and out of the speech. but dub speech in over filming everything you said,

Picture a pasture open to all. It is expected that each herdsman willl try to keep as many cattle on the pasture. when a herder adds a cow to the pasture, he reaps the benefits of a larger herd. Meanwhile the cost of the animal - damage done to the pasture - is divided among all the herdsmen....... the herdsmen are getting nervous. putting more cattle on the pasture isnt helping anyone. (mental commons)
