So this upcoming school year I'm am going to be a Clarkson university Ski Club Officer taking on the position of Media Coordinator. Basically I set up movie premieres and make posters and videos throughout the year to promote the club and set up weekend trips to various mountains. I have recently been working in GIMP and have come up with a few logo ideas but I recently came up with this idea for a Tall Tee design and I would like to get some feedback on what you guys think..

I understand the crown might be pushing it but if i got rid of that it's just letters in circles.. so without the crown and something else there would prolly be better.. In NO way am i trying to bite jiberish. I love the company and their products
 
hate to sound like a dick, but just no, i agree with him it's way to close to jiberish you have to get more creative with it, it's all about being original
 
word alright well imma work on this and post up some new shit.. do you at least like the skier shadows and shit? like aside from the jiberish aspect is it good?
 
right now it reads as "Clarkson Ski University Club."

Try taking your letters inside the circles and making those circle letter combos feel more original and balanced, make them feel like the letters belong in the circles. Maybe try a different typeface, futura will have perfectly circular circles for the Cs. Then try to just use those circles with the letters and the skiers to make a cool looking T-shirt. Forget about writing out "clarkson university ski club" unless, maybe you write it small underneath. If you do, use the same typeface you are using inside the circles and get rid of that script.

Play with it more, and see what you come up with!

 
thank you and i actually got a sick idea that I'll work on and post up here within the next day if i have the time to mess around some more
 
Okay so here is a new design I just threw together this afternoon... What are your opinions?

I strayed from the jiberish concept more and added my own ideas but kept the skiers and added a snowboarder (gay i know) but we are a ski & snowboard club. Tried to consolidate the letters and their circles so it reads "CUSC" better

i was going to hate pretty hard, but the last design you posted isnt bad. the concept is actually pretty dope, but i think all the vector riders are kind of overkill. Id stick to just 2 of them. sounds like you have a pretty sick position in the company too.
 
thanks bro! yeah the riders might be a little much so I'll see how it flows with just two of them and yeah the position I have is pretty sweet. I get to talk to alot of reps from different film companies and set up movie premieres at the school and stuff. Just another way to get further involved with the ski community
