Tell me what computer to buy

I dont give a shit what section this should be in, but Im looking for a mac, with video editing shit and that is actually nice for other things for college. 2000$

 
i customized my old gateway. bought all new parts, so it wasnt a gateway at all. came out to about $250 without monitor. worked for 2-3 years, im on it right now, but i broke it

 
buy the parts and put it together yourself...anyone can put together a computer, it takes no brain power at all. if you want an easy way out go with a dell...unless your into macx, I wouldn't recommend one for school.
