Tell me if this camera is good. Or suggest me a better one :D

might want to ask this in media and arts but...
you could spend your $500 on that OR you could just save up some more and go with a t2i or a 60d. a friend of mine has a camera very similar to the sony, and it blows. the sound quality is horrendous and it is terrible in low light. they may say this camera is great in low light, but they are comparing that to other camcorders in their same "class" if you want to call it that, the cheap, consumer high def camcorder "class." i say save up some more money and go with something more reliable and more distinguished in the video world, and hey, if you get a t2i or a 60d you can shoot some dope ass stills with it as well! good luck!
 
Based on your profile you look like you should have a really good idea of what google is and how to use it. I suggest trying that some time. Or maybe wondering over to the forum titled MEDIA & ARTS and READING some of the threads discussing this same question you have.
