Tell me if this camera is good enough to produce TC quality videos or suggest a better one :D

i had one of those bad boys for a couple trips, the stabilization is really good, nothing else stood out really. Not a bad camera at all, but you're paying for the compact size and touch screen, not sure if those things matter to you.
 
Not really. Just stabilization, hd and good low light shooting. Maybe some optical zoom. Thats all I want. I need help! I have no knowledge of what I should be looking for.
 
look at the stickies and use the template for "what camera". more people will get a sense of what you want. get a refurby or used canon hv30. i have it and its fuckin sick. HD. steady

I am very pleased with my new camera, although I've only shot about 200 pictures so far and not in every condition. I took a bunch of shots out on the water on a very blue, sunny day and was extremely pleased at how well they came out. The zoom is fantastic. Some Pros : Amazing super macro, digital zoom, anti shake, many shooting options, ease of use, fun pre-installed picture frames, night time with flash, good size screen, viewfinder, battery charges a quick hour and a half.
