Teenager Shot at U.S. Border

Anyways, I think this crap needs to stop in the U.S. By crap I mean nobody taking accountability for their actions. A 19-year old is near the border smuggling drugs and acting in a way that makes him seem guilty of even more and now the mother deems it her right to sue because of her son's negligence. Oh, and it's ironic she states she "wants the money to help out poor kids". Fine, sue the government all you want since they and everyone else are already paying for your kids anyways. Sadly, she'll probably take most of the money herself, but that's irrelevant anyways.

On a side note, I am not trying to be insensitive and feel sorry for the loss of her son. I wish he didn't have to die, but he did and I think her course of action speaks volumes about the current state of mind in the U.S. and it needs to stop.

 
The kid associated with people who are known to be incredibly brutal and sadistic. Border Patrol have been killed recently and it is entirely likely that this "angelic" boy shot at the BP agent. Also, not sure if you guys know this but throwing rocks is deadly. Rocks will kill or maim severely. When shots are fired the whole mindset of the agent changes from one of stopping a crime to staying alive. The mother is a moron as is the boy who was killed. The story lacks sufficient detail for me to make my mind up about it though. But I'd say the agent is in the clear as to how he acted.
 
Guess what, its the land of the free and she can sue if she wants to, she can also say whatever she wants. Doesnt mean she is going to win or is representative of the american people in anyway.
 
Guy deserved to be shot. It's not like i'm friends with him so i don't really care at all. Strengthen the gene pool a little if anything

it's obvious that the border patrol simply thought he was a mexican, and that is why he shot him. Kid shouldn't have been down there hoppin' fences anyhow!
 
The border patrol has to be forceful at all times. Otherwise everyone would just hop over, and say "Oh if they catch me all they'll do is reprimand me and send me on my way". You have to put the fear in people, or else we will have a bigger problem than we that already have with immigration. I feel bad for the kid, but I think it's a pretty obvious thing that you're not supposed to hop the fence.
