i need new boots and i was told to check out tecnica because they had a line called HVL for people with very wide feet like myself. I was just wondering if any of you have or had these boots and if you could give me some pros and cons of how they feel, stiffness, how they react to different conditions, etc. i know i need to get out and try some boots one but i was just hoping some of you could point me in the right direction... thanks in advance...
 
They are extremely high volume, I have wide feet and tried on the Vento 95 hvl but these were too wide for me. If you have a flat wide foot then definitely look elsewhere, if you have a foot like a brick then they might work for you. You really need to go try them on.
 
Id recommend checking out a bootfitter if you haven't already. Many people come into shops thinking they have huge cobleknockers but in reality they are just moderately wide. Those boots you described are incredibly high-volume boots.
