Tecnica Agent Boot Sole Length

sorry to threadjack but I'm thinking about getting the Technica Agents but can't decide wheather to get 27.5 or 28.5. My current boot is Nordica Beast 28.5 but I often get pretty bad shin bang.

I tried on both 27.5 and found it a little uncomfortably tight then tried on a 28.5 and was a lot more comfortable but my big toe was just barely touching the front of the boot. Any suggestions greatly appreciated. Should I get the smaller size and will it expand slightly?
 

go with the smaller size. i made the mistake of goin to big... when i bought my agents they felt just a little roomy, and now i have way too much toe room
 
i personally would never buy a boot when my toe touches the end. it will probably expand a bit but really not that much. i don't know if they do but maybe tecnica makes a 28.0 then that would be perfect for you

Think I will probably end up going with 27.5, my friend who works at surefoot said you can always increase the size of your boot a little bit, but you can't make a bigger boot smaller.
