It all depends on the look you're going for. The framing isn't terrible, and that's something that will improve as you take more and more pictures. I think that the main issue with these photos is that the flash is poorly used. I'm assuming you used the onboard flash? Maybe try taking some pictures in the daytime when you're less limited by the amount of light you have to shoot with. This will give you a lot more freedom to get pictures with better depth. Make sense? Keep on playing around and you'll start to develop an eye for what you want out of your pictures other than simply capturing a moment. Also, don't be afraid to experiment with camera placement. You don't have to take all of your pictures at eye level. Take some extreme low or high angle shots to get a different perspective. Basically just play around and take risks.
