I am relatively new to the freestyle skiing world, for this up coming season would be my third year of freestyle skiing. I feel now that it is time to buy myself a pair of park boots. I went to a few ski shops around my area and I liked the Technica Agent 80. I tried these boots on and they feel firm and comfortable. I am not an expert at all in the sport, but for freestyle skiing I would consider myself an intermediate type. I would also be purchasing the 2008 model not the 2009. The reason I am doing this is because the 2008 model is way cheaper and plus I am 16 years old so my foot could still be growing. My question is, are Technica freestyle boots a good intermediate pair of boot? And also, does it matter if I buy the 2008 instead of the 2009 model? I read that these models are basically the same, and have the same features, I just want to know your opinion.
