This thread made me realize how many legit am filmers there are now, that is nuts. I vote for kevin and riley steen.
 
JF Boutin is filming with Casabon, JF Houle, Gagnier, Alexis and many more this year...

I think he'd make a good candidate.

your a fucking faggot. and for real WILL START is the most talent filmer on NS. no offense to the kids he shoots with, but he doesnt have a quarter of the talent that clownschool (steen heath), evan william, andy hahn or basically any of the guys mentioned in this thread have to work with. if your judging purely on filming talent and not the athletes in the edits, WILL START hands down has to take it.

One thing people aren't realizing is what filmers actually have the cash to fly out on their own dime and all the equipment needed? If we want them to rep NS to the fullest they have to compete with Berman and Decesere or whatever.
 
congratulations on being a dumbass. a good filmer can get shots that will be creative and will give the edit a sick vibe as well. don't be an idiot.
 
wtf is your point? would you rather watch a sick edit with nice cameras and a nice flow and vibe to it or an edit made from an iphone and only followcams? because if you would rather watch a cellphone edit you are a fucking idiot.
 
Well its obvious that an edit with awesome riders with decent filming is going to be rated higher than an edit with shitty riders and awesome filming. Most of the filmers in this thread are awesome at filming with or without good riders. Watch Kevin Steens other videos of not skiing. That dude still kills it either way. But the same goes with Horner, he's an incredible filmer with alright riders and I think most people see past the riding in his edits because he's just that good.
 
because you can't explain yourself in an understandable manner. the riders will be sick, so why not fuse both sick riders and good filmers to create some truly epic stuff.

jesus all of you who do not say horner just need to go watch every one of his vimeo videos and then tell me he is not the most deserving, from a purely artistic standpoint there is not a single person better
