Team japan joss

i was checking out jon's site were the teams for joss 2010

are announced. and i found that there's gonna be a team japan this year

witch made me pretty stoked since you hear allot about skiing in japan

but nothing about Japanese skiers. so, the team is announced as "rider

1: shinji osada rider 2: shinjis choise rookie: team japans choise". naturally, i had to search this shinji osada guys name on youtube to se what he will bring to this epic uber elite

event, and what i found was this...
And its not lite this was

the worst "edit" i found.. this was pretty much it.. its like,, the

crowd is going bananas just because hes dropping in sw, and then he's _not landing_ the sw7 he's attempting! wtf?

he's the guy who overshoots at the end of this video, also theres already a very easy to find thread about team Japan....

Correct me if Im wrong, but he attended to London LG Freeze and Barcelona Snow Show this fall.

From my point of view, this is pretty much ridiculous to bring a Team Japan a JOSS this year. He's the only one japanese freeskier barely well known in North America and Europe and the team is gonna be composed of two others totally unknown guys.

No hate, but I think they wont bring any really different stuff or step up the level of skiing during the event, maybe a different filming / editing way at least..

Ok it's fine to get teams from every where in the world and not like 10 skiers from North Am, even if there is a bunchs of guys who totally deserve to be in that comp...

But I feel pretty sad about the fact Colby wont be attending to JOSS this year and bring funny shits, pretty also also that Lolo Favre wont participate knowing he throwed last year pretty much the sickest edit with Henrik..

Another Team Europe would have been great, like Lolo Favre and Leigh Powis for exemple...

Whatever, maybe we'll be surprised by Team Japan this year, but from now, I'm disapoiinted about how JOSS teams are turning..

I think it's cool there will be a Japanese team there, I don't think it matters that the riders may not be the best known in NA/Europe, we will know about them afterwards, and it'll bring JOSS to a whole new audience.

I am sad to see that Lolo isn't there this year, because I loved that edit last year, but maybe he could be part of team NS?

At 55 seconds ---> WTF. That was Lolo stylee screaming seaman madness!

Japan at JOSS should be at the very least interesting.

Sure there are a lot of other deserving people to go but they can hit breck/keystone any day while these dudes from Japan probably never get to hit a huge jump. It might be a bad thing but this could really open up a freeskiing to a huge audience in Japan. Either way I'm sure they'll bring something new to the table.
