Transcranial Direct Current Stimulation

So I listen to radiolab frequently.

And the latest podcast is about tDCS. I have never heard about it until this morning. Here is the podcast

But basically it is a method of applying a small current of electricity to the brain to stimulate it, which makes it preform on a higher level.

Anyway, has anyone on here experimented with it? After a tiny bit of looking into it, it looks really interesting.

I might try to build a simple device. There is plenty of info online.

Anyone else look into it before?

I couldnt plug in the computer at school in 3rd grade because there was a small rock lodged in the socket. We all had certain days /times we could use it and I didnt wanna miss out on my time. So I took a paper clip, bent it and tried to get the rock out. I never tried that again haha. But I did get other kids in my class to do it. I was even an asshole in 3rd grade lol
