What are some park skis with taper in the tip and the tail

well they arent park skis, but my praxis woo tests have an absurd amount of taper and they are downright sketchy in the park. really not possible to carve off a jump with them.
are you just looking for a park ski that also does well in pow? what gains do you think taper will give you in park?

I can't think of any other park skis more tapered than the Armada B-dog.

and why would you want a short turning radius really anywhere? in park i like a long radius for really stable landings. only reason the tapered skis i have work is because they have basically no side cut, so they keep a 30m turning radius. i really have no idea why people like skis like the armada jj so much...they ski like fuckin snowblades

well this argument is getting dumb but ill just finish by saying that easier is not necessarily better. if you are hitting a jump line with 60 foot jumps you arent going to be making really tight turns between each one. you will be going straight and fast, hence why it can be nice have a long turning radius in park.

Its the fact these kids CANT SKI. ANY park ski for the most part is going to be able to make quick turns between features if your a strong skier. The problem isn't the skis its the skier. I have seen it for years.
You think the distance between park features are short? Try slalom gates. This thread is absurd. Park skis will never be able to carve like a slalom ski on edge.

So in my opinion, in the context of park skis, taper is largely designed in for hook free performance. Really that translates into huuuuge time this:
Taper does other things to, like cutting down swing weight in the tips and tails, allows the the tip to penetrate crud much easier, and makes the tail less draggy in pow.
With all of that, tighter, more aggressive sidecuts are usually paired in because the taper takes away a lot of effective edge. If you left them with a more subtle sidecut radii, they would be a lot tougher to turn on hardpack.
