Anyone ski there? if so how is it from late march to april? my sister goes to school at unm so im thinking of going down there and skiing some.

Never been during that time frame but Taos has some sick and steep terrain.

As above, I've never been there for spring conditions, but I'm sure some of it will hold up.

Note though... you certainly would not be skiing taos for park.

It's a real sick mountain, lots of amazing terrain that's a short hike.

im going there this coming weekend so ill let you know how it is. sadly i dont think there is going ot be any good snow while im there

I'm from NM and I have to say, Taos is not the place to go ski in Late March/Early April. The snow just doesn't hold up. You definitely won't be doing any cliff drops.

Why don't you and your sis hop in a car, head a few hours north and go to Durango instead? Its not like Taos is right by UNM anyways....
