Tanner Hall's Losing Reaction?

I know that Tanner Hall probably isnt used to losing to someone who has never won xgames or smehting like that, but the way he handled losing wasn't what i really call admirable. He completely stole this bertoni's spotlight, for any of you who don't know he yelled "DUDE YOU JUST WON THE XGAMES" pushed bertoni on the ground, then punched him saying like man you are so good at skiing and you are gonna be here for so many years...like whats up with that? I dont think bertoni and him are like friends so thats really just not cool of thall in my opinions...

your thoughts?
 
noo dude tanner was just being cool... he was the cloest one to him and was just congratulating him... you wouldn't want tanner hall to tell you that you are so good and that you are the next big thing?
 
does mine say..."TANNER LOST" or "TANNER 2ND" ....no...this is a discussion thread not an informative thread saying "TANNER LOST" and thats it...
 
man tanner was defff just showing respect for someone who won over him, at least he didnt kick him in the sac and say fuck you i should have won, the judges suck! he is a real sport, givin props is positive so why bitch about it

dude if you thinik about it tanner is 25 and he was in that kids position once too and he knows that he will have a good career ahead of him...and what what i saw bertoni was pretty humble about it and tanner just hyped him up and shit....and you know if tanner hall was throwing you props like that youd shit...
and tanner didnt relly "punch" him
 
i thought the way tanner handled himself this year was waaayyy better than in past seasons. i felt a good vibe from all of the riders and all of them killed it. if tanner did that to me, id be stoked.
 
i think that people who will begin to hate on the forums need to know its just tanner's natural stoked reaction, its tanner all and you should be stoked of his atttiude of respect towards bertoni comparred to dumont who just went to cry in his corner hes a bad loser

ok man he had like a hand on his chest. i revoke the punch but like it looked mean more than playful. if you took a still frame and showed it to someone who hadnt seen it they would think he was beating him up.

as for it being his last xgames i agree.

The one thing I always here about Tanner is that he ant no sore loser~ He gets stoked when one of his buddies wins just as a good friend should

word. tanner knew that everyone wanted him or simon to win and he knew that people weren't totally stoked for Bertoni. and it seemed like he was genuinely happy for bertoni
 
i also think that Tanner doesn't give a fuck about what we think about how he acts when he is congratulating someone
 
I thought it was super sick that he was so stoked for him. Unlike Dumont that walked off and looked liked he was super pissed. Props to Tanner for doing such a nice thing.
 
grow up man. i dont really care what you think of me as a "fucking ignorant jackass" or "fucking retard"....but does no one think he still coulda just done what EVERYONE else does and a handshake / five and a pat on the back or hug and said congrats man you did great. youve got a long career ahead of you. even if he had done it in a stoked way it woulda been fine but like when it goes to youtube which im sure it will...listen to the commentators voices even they were shocked.

Tanner is a really INTENSE dude and he was stoked for the kid, that is all . That is just him being really happy for someone ! don't read into it so much , only women do that kind of shit.
 
like what simon did...sitting there sulking that he didn't win. Fuck that Tanner saw a great performance by Bertoni and wanted for the crowd to be stoked for Bertoni too.
 
agreed dumont was really gay the whole night with that whole pouty thing going on and I DO NOT mean to say that a congratulations wasn't in order. however tanner in my opinion took it over the top. you have your opinion i have mine. but if i won the xgames i wouldnt want someone knocking me on my ass and yelling at me. doesnt seem like bertonis the kinda guy who liked that either.
 
Uh, if Tanner did that to you, you'd probably number one be speechless because you just beat Tanner and Simon and Dorey in pipe. Then you'd pass out because Tanner was just all over you.

obviously I'd be stoked...but im not a professional skier? even still. if tanner came up to me at my hill i wouldnt want him jumping on me there either....sorry if i dont have an obsession with him?
 
It seemed pretty right to me.

If any of you have ever competed, you know the high that you can get sometimes from it being so awesome. it inspires crazy tricks and crazy hyped up attitude. They were just stoked, and tanner was super excited for the guy. props to tanner for a super sick run, and props to xavier for a super sick(er) run.

ALSO: Tanner is spancerized by redbull so he might be high on redbull. Sometimes when your high on redbull you can't control the volume of your voice.

Seriously, anyone who's hating on Tanner for being absolutely stoked for Xavier should chill the fuck out. Tanner was just really stoked to see someone new on the podium. If anyone should be hated on it's Dumont for not even acknowleding Bertoni's win.
 
whoa calm down here.... he thought about this and hes not the only one, hes not being a fucking retard since he has reason to think this way.

what this thread says besicaly and more obviously is that there are different ways that tanner could have showed equal respect for the guy. The way tanner screamed everything loud enough for the cameras to hear is not the most diplomatic of ways to congradulate someone. I DO NOT DOUBT IN ANY WAY THAT TANNER IS HAPPY FOR HIM but the way tanner sent props did seem like he was asking for attention. Correct me if Im wrong but tanner rarely ( if ever) skis with Bertoli outside of competitions and therefore is almost a complete stranger to him but he dosnt hesitate to make a show and tackle him to the ground and give him a loud speech before his buddys actualy get there.

simply put I think that a simple cordial congradulations with a big smile on his face would have gone much further to prove how happy he is for the man than doing what he did, it just came off as attention demanding and at a moment where the attention should be directed at the winner.
 
I guess none of you kid's have friends if you all say Tanner did it to gain the spotlight. On top of that, I don't think any of you have any sportsmanship whatsoever. Tanner was stoked. Tanner could give a fuck about pipe nowadays. His rippin the BC. Props to Tanner for his reaction and how he skied. I enjoyed his run more then anyone elses. His double grab and shifty were just amazing.
 
Yo man cut him some slack one of his best friends will probably never walk again. Hes got a right to be a little down
