Tanner Hall update? (Like a Lion spoiler alert)

I just watched Like a Lion, and I'm wondering if anyone knows how T Hall is doing these days, in terms of pills and alcohol. He's responsible for his own actions, but that shit is tragic. I hope he holds it together and comes back hard. Sick documentary--Iberg is the man.

i guess he's off them, as far as we all know. doesn't mean he won't go back to it, but i assume he's not using them at the moment. can't wait to see him get back this year

he's skiing again, which should hopefully help him stay off the booze. sounds like he's past it.. time will tell.

I hope Like a Lion can really change people's opinions on Tanner forever. I'll admit that I used to think Tanner was some idiotic asshole who didn't know how to act, but he's just another person with highs and lows like anyone else. Mad vibes and prayers to Tanner, skiing loves you just as much as you love skiing

I feel the same way. I was really taken back by like a lion.

I have a new found respect for tanner. +vibes his way.

I've yet to see Like a Lion but Ive always held T Hall in the highest regards. He's like Michael Jordon imo. We have Lebron James and others now but T Hall will always be respected by me.

yeah, Like a Lion completely changed my view of him. He's such an inspiration to our sport and we would not be anywhere near where we are today without T hall.

Stoked to hopefully see him back on the slopes this season

this is a good answer...i hope he can stay off them and get his life together...maybe start a family or something i know its corny

thanks, but I can't find it in itunes, could anyone copy the link for the film in itunes, I can just find the like a lion album....

Yea dude Like a Lion change my perspective on skiing, tanner, and just life in general. If you havent seen it your missing out on one of the best documentarys ever made.

"yea we had tanner move in to a condo with a couple of real nice guys"
"Yeah those guys are retarded, i knew they were making porno in the basement"

ya definently agree with all this i always thought Tanner was kind of a reckless idiot just acting like an idiot because he was rich and famous but after seeing the shit he went through and how the loss of cr affected him and everything made me see why he did that shit like i dunno what i would do if my bestfriend died but probably some pretty stupid shit as well

go to itunes and type in "like a lion" to the search bar. It works the cover is kinda white and red with a black lions head. Im downloading it now

like a lion totally changed my opinion of tanner.
as a kid, he was basically an uncontrolled, unwatched douchebag with a lot of talent.
but it seems that as he refined his talent, some of the other stuff came into place, and as he started to get injured, it all fell apart.
but he seems to have pulled his shit back together, almost as if it was for CR.
+vibes to tanner, good luck with the recovery.
also, had a chance to talk to him for a minute at hood, seemed like a real nice guy.

whoa, right as i clicked on this thread a song from the movie came on on shuffle

/cool story

new respect is that possible? i still laugh cause of his real rant. but hope he comes out of the stage in his life and kills it more and makes more rants. :)

Such a powerful movie, such a powerful story, such a powerful guy. +vibes all day, so stoked to see him back at it.

from the front page news story, it sounds like he's got he shit going right these days. session with sammy to get double corks: NBD.

Then after getting stabbed with a massive needle by a mexican, TH is gonna compete again. I didn't expect that! Let's hope whatever poncho gave you is out of your system before Sochi 2014... nevermind the rest.

I find all the film/web/music projects to be pretty interesting. I'm so jealous of two months straight at Retallack, but I don't own a cat ski op because I slay so hard. and Cold rush is gonna be off the hook.

This is such good news to hear. I also just got back on snow after a crazy injury. Three months ago I was living in the U of U inpatient rehab center knowing I wouldn't ski for over a year. needless to say I've been inspired -

So stoked, aparently he's training for the Olympics, so at least he's back at it and training. Definitly one of the greatest and most influencal skies of all time. Love em, Hate em, he's the best
