Y does Tanner not do anymore slopestyles i wanna see him do a slopestyle so bad does anyone know y he hasn't competed in slopestyle in like 3 years
 
eh I think he is just too self centered, making his own ski movie when it would be much better for the sport if he did a comp like JOSS. I don't blame him for not doing other comps though, I don't generally like comps because its not really what skiing is about. he's still disgusting and he could definitely rip it up with a lot of the younger guys.

on a side note, I don't really like it when skiers make their own movies with them as the star. Its boring to watch the same style for 45 minutes.
 
Tanner killed slope forever, then decided to switch his focus, that is his choice. But he would probably kill it.

the only thing bad about this is that he is not the only skier in his movie and he doesnt like self center it around him either

Maby he learned the joy of skiing back country and not some repetitive jump over and over again. I think if people would bring tricks out into the back country the possibility's is endless

would have been SIICK to see him in slopestyle comp though

im gonna attempt a translation: his focus is on other pats of the sport now, i think he still now im lost screw it. oh last part i just think that he would rather give the spots to younger kids. holy shit im bored
 
check out candide's vid at candidekamera.com . he's slaying in new directions too. He hasn't lost his penchant for big air.
 
I actually don't think THall would do as well in comps as he used to. He used to dominate the scene, but now younger generation I think would be better than him. I think he made a good decision moving to the backcountry and he will continue to rip it up there and in the pipe.
 
from an economical standpoint it makes sense. tanner will definently finish in the top three in pipe, most likely top two. so it makes sense to miss some filming for 10 to 20gs in winnings. but with slope, he's only guaranteed top ten, plus all that extra training. so, it would make sense to spend those slope comp days filming, shooting photos and making money that way instead.
 
What are you talking about man? While I'll agree there's a healthy dose of Tanner, I'd say he found a good balance. Believe had a little bit more of him, but goddamn, he killed it so hard in that movie it doesn't even matter.
 
have you seen tanner ski park recently he fucking vaporized the nz park in that one edit that guy is like a living video game. the sw cork 10 blunt sw cork 7 shifty sw 450 shifty i think he just gets high as fuck and thinks up ways to fuck with everybody.
the only thing that could prevent tanner winning if he tried is the return of candide.

Probably because it's a lot more fun to film powder/big lines in BC/AK than it is to ski bulletproof parks all winter? Who the hell would choose park comps over that kind of skiing.
